Looking to hike, have a picnic or paddle? With in excess of 120 km (75 mi) of trails, staggering waters and a gathering of widely varied vegetation, Fundy National Park is really a nature lovers fantasy. The Fundy National Park is home to the world’s biggest tides. Jump in a kayak to paddle the surging waters at high tide or investigate the interesting mudflats left uncovered at low tide.

While you’re there, look at the best attractions in the Bay of Fundy – Hopewell Rocks, Fundy Trail Parkway and Cape Enrage. There are also many RV friendly campsites in the area such as Century Farm Family Campground or Ponderosa Pines Park.

A trek to the Maritimes isn’t finished without a visit to a lighthouse! Peggy’s Cove is the quintessential Canadian point of interest not to be missed on your visit to Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is home to more than 160 notable lighthouses, Peggy’s Point Lighthouses still keep watch over surging sea waves and working lobster boats. Absorb the enchanting nautical vibe on the shores of St. Margaret’s Bay – the vivid boat shelters, the nearby craftsman shops, the fish eateries and the oceanfront campgrounds.

Greenwich National Park features three hiking trails ranging from 4.5 km to 1.25 km. The trails vary from abandoned agricultural fields to secluded wooded areas. Enjoy a gentle stroll or hike across the rolling sand dunes or the stunning white sand beach.

Greenwich Beach is one of those star attractions that Islanders try to keep for themselves. There are also many nearby RV friendly campsites including St. Peters Park and Whispering Pines RV Estate.

Including sensational sea perspectives and good country view, the Cabot Trail has been depicted as one of the world’s best picturesque drives. Driving the Cabot Trail is Nova Scotia’s most famous recreational activity, taking you along twisting streets, by quiet lakes, underneath soaring eagles and on to cliff-top vistas that are certain to make your jaw to drop.

Lobster is a specialty in many restaurants along the Cabot Trail, as fresh local seafood can be found in all communities. Look for crab, oysters, mussels, clams, scallops, and mackerel, all raised or caught locally.

While the greater part of PEI’s north shore is known for its epic dunes and wide shorelines of fine sand, Thunder Cove is so vastly different. The shore and shoreline are geographically differing and shows how water and wind shape and change the Island scene. Be careful climbing the cliffs, sandstone is very fragile rock. Local kids love doing flips off the dunes into the soft sand below.

The sandstone cliffs, columns (ocean stacks) and cave developments are never the same twice. A mesmerizing sea stack known as Teacup Rock is best viewed in the early morning when the water is calm and the sun is still low in the sky.
