What Size RV is Best For an Ottawa Family?
Finding the Right RV in Ottawa.
A Class, B Class, C Class and more; there are as many permutations and combinations of RV’s as there are needs, wants, and expectations of Ottawa RV travelling families. Finding the one that’s right for you and your family is a matter of establishing a well-rounded understanding of your needs as they relate to the distance and duration of your trip, your preferred level of luxury, and number of passengers.
The Size Classes
The biggest and ‘best’ RV’s available are class A’s. Similar in appearance to coaches, these are essentially small apartments on wheels that can generally sleeping up to 6 people. The highest level of luxury, A class RV’s generally feature pop-outs, high quality interior trim, awnings, and large clear, grey, and black-water tanks. These conveniences come at a cost however, as class A RV’s are the most expensive to buy, use, and maintain. Class B motorhomes are smaller than class A’s and (generally) class C’s, and are distinguished by their sleeker form-factor. The cost of interior space and exterior storage provides the class B fuel efficiency advantages, but is generally not recommended for more than 2-3 people. Class C’s provide many of the benefits of a class A without less of the cost. Sleeping 4-5 and with impressive interior space as well as optional pop-outs, including wet showers, water tanks, generators and more; it’s easy to see why class C’s are so popular.
Which is Best for Your Family?
Unless you are only intending on bringing a single child, generally the class B motorhome is not ideal for families, leaving only class A and C. Determining which of these two is best for your family vacation comes down to the specific needs, wants, and expectations of your trip. If you value luxury and comfort, and don’t mind spending a little extra to get access to these things, or if you have a very large number of passengers, there is no doubting that a class A RV is best for your family. If you’re looking for a great trip for you and your family, and don’t see a need to invest in luxuries that won’t provide value for your experience, then looking at the class C’s available from Travel-Mor would be your best bet. With an extensive range of options available, theres no doubting that Travel-Mor can meet your motorhome needs, regardless of what class of RV you’re looking for. Class A through C, if you’re looking for an RV adventure with your family, get in touch with Travel-Mor for the best RV rentals and purchases in Ottawa!
